About the Area
Approximately nine miles southwest of Manchester city centre, you’ll find the leafy village of Hale.Â
Populated by affluent young professionals and families, the charming village offers fashion boutiques, artisan bakeries, vintage and thrift stores, and trendy wine bars.
Foodies are well catered for, with a smorgasbord of cuisines, from French, Italian, and Spanish to Japanese, Thai, and Lebanese.Â
There are some buildings of historic interest, including Royd House, designed by architect Edgar Wood, as well as multiple places of worship for Christian, Jewish, and Muslim residents.
Renowned private schools are a stone’s throw away, and there are several green spaces in walking distance, including Denzell Gardens, John Leigh Park, Stamford Park, Devisdale, and the National Trust’s Dunham Massey, which has its very own deer park.
Beginning life as a farming area, Hale was first mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086.
Formerly part of Cheshire, it now resides in the new Metropolitan Borough of Trafford, Greater Manchester.Â
A favourite haunt of actors and footballers, Hale has had many famous residents over the years, including the late great actor Bernard Cribbins, cricketer Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, and ex-footballers Roy Keane, Harry Kewell, Bryan Robson and James Beattie.
We don’t just cover Hale.
While our showroom is in Altrincham, we’re proud to have happy customers in Cheshire, Greater Manchester and beyond.
We are consistently expanding our customer base across the North West, including but not limited to:
This is not an exhaustive list, so if your area isn’t listed, don’t worry. We cater to customers across much of the North West, and chances are we will be able to help.Â
