Dubbed the “Knightsbridge of the North”, the affluent Cheshire village of Alderley Edge is just 12 miles south of Manchester and 6 miles North-west of Macclesfield.

Alderley Edge is one of the most historically significant sites in the North West, with an alert beacon to one of the country’s oldest metal-mining sites, Roman mineshafts, Windmill Wood, and a legend about an underground army and a wizard!
Renowned for its Triassic-age sandstone, the picturesque village overlooks the Cheshire Plain. The National Trusts own the striking red sandstone escarpment known as The Edge, and its surrounding woodlands.
Panoramic views of the Peak District and Cheshire are available from the Edge’s highest point.
Contemporary artist Jessica Owen, famed for her huge land and seascapes, has opened her studio to clients, offering an immersive experience.
